Oak Hill Middle School principal to wrestle for a good cause in December 2024
OAK HILL, WV (WVNS) — The principal of Oak Hill Middle School will step back into the wrestling ring with celebrity wrestler Heath Slater to take on the “bad guys.”
OHMS Principal Chad Quesenberry, who hosted similar wrestling matches last year to raise money for the community, said the goal is to help kids in the Oak Hill community to have a good Christmas.
Wrestling events last year, hosted with help from professional wrestlers, grew in popularity quickly.

Mr. Quesenberry said the event raised money to help more than 100 families and that his students and his own son were thrilled to see their principal take on professional wrestlers.
The enthusiasm for last year’s event is the main reason he is willing to do it again, he said.
“So, taking care of a hundred families and then putting a gigantic smile on my son’s face and me in turn having a big smile – it’s a no brainer for me,” said Mr. Quesenberry. “I’ll get in and get physical and probably get hurt, and it will be OK.”
Admission is free with a new, unopened toy or children’s clothing item with tags.

Ringside seats are $15. A meet-and-greet with wrestlers begins at 6:30 p.m. and the match begins at 7 p.m. The event is December 13, 2024, at Oak Hill Middle School gymnasium.
