AGNOSTIC FRONT
It is often difficult to say when and where certain musical movements begin and end, but when it comes to Agnostic Front, there is rarely a dispute. These New York-bred "Oi"-scenesters -- vocalist Roger Miret, guitarist Vinny Stigma, bassist Rob Kibula and drummer Jimmy Collette -- came together more than 15 years ago, when the nascent hardcore movement had very few followers. Making a temporary home out of the legendary CBGB club in New York's East Village, Agnostic Front built an army of hardcore punk followers, offering the original metal-meets-punk aesthetic.
RINGWORM (Victory)
Cleveland's most vile and destructive hardcore metal band, Ringworm is here to wreak havoc on the world. After leading the Cleveland metal scene for a good portion of this past decade Ringworm is ready to unleash their wrath on the rest of the world. One view of their live set will vanquish all doubters and skeptics of the sheer power of this band of Cleveland malcontents. If Charles Manson was into hardcore metal this would be his band.
