new project
So I jammed last night with my friends Raeph and Todd and it really went well. I know both of them from various bands for a long time, and was really psyched to play. Great musicians, they have some pretty good tunes so far, a nice studio in Astoria and they're looking for a guitarist. I learned 2 songs and I think I might do it. What's strange is they're tuned to standard pitch A440 - I've been tuning 5 steps lower for 15 years and my guitar felt like a freakin' Mandolin with heavy strings after I retuned..I had to fight to play it. Anyway i'm gonna set up another axe with light strings and go down to play again Wednesday.
