Todd Radict on the last hours of CBGB

Last night was the last time that the club remained in our hands. We turned in the keys at 12 am. The gates were covered in graffiti from people from 1,000 of miles around wishing the club the best. This morning at 8am we went by and the landlord had already painted over everything. Now this tells you how much New York City sucks. It was devastating to all of us who have ever gone there. Last nite was the worst day of my life looking at at the club gutted completely out.
