I never ate Kale before

I just learned
eating fruits and vegetables can reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease
Cornell University says diets rich in antioxidants (veggies have 'em) are linked to improved lung function and may prevent respiratory diseases such as asthma, emphysema and chronic bronchitis. The top 10 healthiest fruits and vegetables are:

Broccoli
Cabbage
Cantaloupe
Carrots
Kale
Mangoes
Pumpkin
Red bell pepper
Spinach
Sweet potato

Strawberries make the list if purchased organically.

I just read that 83% of Americans don't eat optimal amounts of fruits and veggies, and don't benefit from their nutrients. That's sad. I also read that a team of researchers recently figured that we'd save over $20 billion in health care costs annually if Americans got those missing nutrients.

Jason, drummer from DownlowNYHC speaks

jason posted this last week on myspace and I just saw it now.

"Hanging with the punks in the gutters I have found..most of them are gifted and talented as well. So which is it? Am i talented or gifted. and actually i'm not to fond of the gutter. Playing in Down Low is the closest thing to it though. so it's all good.
Comment on my video!!!!! C'mon... bring it! Hate comments, love comments....what the hell language is that guy singing in comments... whatever! just leave me some damn comments on the video I made dammit!!! Just copy and paste this link into your browser http://www.disassociate.com/downlo… The video is for our new song "The Pressure" to be released this year on Down Low NYHC's next CD, recorded/mixed by Nick Noize of Locked in a Vacancy. As this is the first thing I've ever edited, i'd like to hear some feedback from any and all of you who care to check it out. Of course if you like Down Low already (fat chance), and/or are a fan of NYHC music you might be biased. Hell, you might even be in the video. Most of it was taped live from 1995 through 2004at CBGB and Coney Island High in NYC and the SideBar in Baltimore, MD. The only footage of me playing drums is the black and white footage at the Sidebar from August 2004. This footage is also the only video in which the band is actually playing the song "The Pressure". The "Down Low" in blue camcorder type across the screen at the end is courtesy of Uptown Al who taped that Down Low show at CBGB's. I just put a freeze frame on it and thought it was a cool way to end the video. All the video footage was transferred from VHS to 3/4" and then digitized into an AVID system. It was edited during my last week out in Venice/Hollywood California at my cousin's company, Brass Knuckles Editorial in late December 2004. I hope you enjoy the video -Tell me what you think -get back to me with comments, messages, hatemail etc."
