The intent of PICKit 2Plus and the PICKit 3Plus is to support programming of PIC microcontrollers and EEPROMS.

See www.pickitplus.co.uk to purchase the project software.

This repository provides the database that contains the new programming protocol to support for Microchip PIC microcontrollers

We publish the updated and managed Microchips PIC microcontroller and EEPROM database here.

You can use with the original Microchip software but the original Microchip software will not program many of the newer classes of chips. These new classes of chips will be listed in the menus, but, they will be detectable.

Features

  • PICKitPLus
  • Microcchip

User Reviews

  • PICKitPlus is outstanding. We now can program multiple devices simultaneously, quickly and reliably using the PICKitPlus command line utility running on a common PC (using PICKit2 or PICKit3 programmers). We could not program multiple devices at these speeds with the Microchip software - and we tried with ICD3, ICD4, PICKit3 etc. Most impressed with product and the technical support - which resolved all our queries extremely quickly.

  • This is a wonderful upgrade to my trusty old PicKit software which has been abandoned by Microchip and replaced by MPlabX which is bloated, slow, and buggy. I can now quickly program newer Microchip parts again, thanks so much!

  • Needed something to help me program newer PIC devices rather than use unreliable MPLAB - took a punt on this and it's working flawlessly!
