Dog Mansion #4 - Kalija and Patty

Dog Mansion #4 is up! :)

We still can't figure out why we can't manage to finish one in one day, but since that hasn't happened yet, we just need to get over it. :) We were late getting started yesterday, and worked till about 9:30pm, but still have to finish the sides and build the shelves for the food.

Still, it looks good. Now if I could just convince Kalija and Patty that it's theirs and they can get in it. :) My shy dogs are even shy of their new home. Patty, of course, hid in her (old) house the whole time we were working because she's the shyest dog I have. Kalija, however, decided to trust a bit, and was watching the whole process and coming to me whenever he thought it was safe. I am very happy to say that I had some really good quality time with my boy yesterday, and when I tell him, "I love you soooooooooo much" (a phrase he loves that makes him cuddle harder against me), it definitely is coming from my heart. I said last night that to me, he is a combination of Sly (his daddy) and Misha - he has the toughness of Sly and the sweetness of Misha. That is a serious combo for me...he's the huggable representative of the two dogs I've loved most in my life. Usually Patty is the lovey-dovey one, so it was good to get some loving from my beautiful boy.

I didn't take any pictures till today, but here they are...

I'll start with the ones of the house, but I got some good ones of the dogs, too...

You can see what I mean about not having the sides finished...the triangle piece is temporary:

ETA: Kalija was sleeping in the house this morning!! Not Patty yet, but maybe seeing him up there will help her to feel that it's safe. What a good, good boy he is! :)
