One of my first and most beloved DND characters happens to be an apprentice of an arcane library (they even have a small spirit familiar!), so it felt extra magical to go on this adventure with them again.
The rules work really well for the tone and setting, the rolling tables are so imaginative, and the design is beautiful. Thank you for this fantastic game!
Such a beautiful experience! I adore the pensive folklorish tone so much. I've always found poetry both fascinating and a little intimidating, can't think of a more enjoyable way to step out of my comfort zone.

Compact rules with fantastic balance between narrative & action. In my first play through my unfortunately gunslinger practically ran into all 4 enemies in a row, and went out in a blaze. Still made for a satisfying story despite the extra short session, which is really cool.
I suggest dividing the deck into 2-4 piles and shuffling the face cards in separately for a(n optional) longer and more evenly paced adventure.

I'm looking for a couple of clarifications:
- Am I correct to assume location slots match the number of characters?
- Do inventory grid and shared bag refer to the same thing? Does the shared bag size also change with number of characters or does it stay the same?
