Well, it has been a good ride! I've spent the last entire week with my baby girl and am more in-love with her every day. The most beautiful girl in the world to me... We had the "deepest-darkest-secrets" talk this evening, over queso and enchiladas at Lupe Tortilla's. Stone-cold sober, I sat there and told all. Now she's the one with the goods on me. Knows all my dark days, nights, and my most embarrasing moments. It's surprisingly cool and somewhat of a weight lifted off my mind. Oh, and she dished to me too...
Sweet thing's in bed now, sleeping peacefully, but has to get up at six for work tomorrow... Christmas break's over.
This past New Year's eve was spent with my baby at her friend's party first, with about five other couples, then with my friends in a huge Ford 350- super diesel- 4x4 crew cab, jacked up for the gods, (this truck is way cool!) cruising downtown Houston with thousands of other revelers... then in the truck bed...singing and dancing, dance music blasting, jumping up and down and truck bouncing with my closest gay boyfriends and some other friends... and some good champagne popping and all of us kissing at the stroke of midnight. It just doesn't get any better. I am so lucky to have such good friends.
It was such a beautiful day here, pure sunshine and 80 degrees, so we took the convertible up to Old Town Spring to walk around "antiquing?" It was all I could do to keep my hands off her as we went from shop to shop and sneaking kisses when we thought no one was looking.
Time to go snuggle up tight behind my sweet thing...
