Grevesmühlen is a town in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in northern Germany. Grevesmühlen was the seat of Nordwestmecklenburg until 2011, when it replaced Wismar as the seat. It is 33 km east of Lübeck, and 29 km northwest of Schwerin. The town is part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region.
