Rowf! Rowf! Rowf! Rowf! Rowf!
Digger was the dog of Jack Stanton as a child, as seen in Sinner's Reward. Jack was pressured to shoot him to show his worthiness as an assassin to his father Michael, and so he shot Digger through the eye, killing him. This earned Jack the nickname "The Pup", although Digger's memory has continued to haunt Michael.
During the finale of the comic, Digger returns to Jack as an illusion, causing Jack to collapse in sadness when he realizes Digger is truly dead.
