New member/fan, new shipping ideas
Hello. I am an elephant (not really) and I ship people who have no business being shipped.
I've been a fan of "Yu-gi-oh" since about 2003 (became a fan of the abridged series, too) and I've been writing fanfiction (mostly crackfic) since 2004. Hopefully, I got better at it.
I really love crack pairings. I realize they have no basis in reality, but I just can't help myself. I've been looking for communities about shippings in search of fanfiction or fanart about my favorite pairings, but no luck.
Well, they always say, "Be the change you want to see." So I dusted off my fanfiction.net account (I'm Kalarin over there) and decided to write my own.
My favorite pairings are Eliteshipping (Keith x Kaiba-but only in a fic that happens years after the series ends so Kaiba is legal), Buddyshipping (Joey x Tristan), and a little Rivalshipping (Yugi x Kaiba).
I also want to try writing a Kaiba x Weevil Underwood fanfic or a Kaiba x Rex Raptor fic. Those pairings don't seem to have a name (probably because they're so cracky), so I just call them Preyshipping (a baby dragon might prey on bugs; Kaiba likes dragons, Weevil likes bugs) and Reptileshipping (Rex likes dinosaurs; dinosaurs and dragons sort of resemble reptiles).
Sadly, I don't have many appropriately shippy one-shots yet. I'll try to write one soon.
