Economic Justice for All
San Franciscans

We work to strengthen the financial foundations of families and communities.

We’re Here to Help

The Economic Justice Center turns the power of the Treasurer’s Office into tools that help San Franciscans build savings, reduce debt, and keep more of what they earn—while eliminating unjust fines and fees and protecting people from predatory financial practices.
StopScams SF
We lead the nation's first comprehensive, city strategy to protect San Franciscans from scams before they happen and support them when they do.
Kindergarten to College
We automatically open a college savings account for every K-12th grade student enrolled in SF's public schools.
Fine and Fee Justice
We assess and reform fines and fees that have an adverse disproportionate impact on low-income people and communities of color.
Financial Counseling
We offer personalized 1-on-1 counseling to break down financial barriers and build a clear path forward.
