Top Ten Favorite "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." (2013-2020) Episodes

Below is a list of my ten favorite episodes from 2013-2020 ABC/Marvel series, "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.". Created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen; the series starred Clark Gregg:



TOP TEN FAVORITE "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." (2013-2020) EPISODES



1. (1.17) "Turn, Turn, Turn" - All hell breaks loose when the events of "CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER" lead to the downfall of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the exposure of HYDRA moles within the agency's ranks.





2. (4.18) "No Regrets" - This episode reveals how S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Leo Fitz had become a HYDRA official, while he and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team were trapped within the Framework, a computer simulation created by S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist Holden Radcliffe. Also, S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Jeffrey Mace aka "the Patriot" leads a group of the Resistance to rescue a colleague held captive by HYDRA.





3. (1.20) "Nothing Personal" - Former S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill helps Coulson and his team track down fellow Agent Skye aka Daisy Johnson, who has been snatched by HYDRA and former ally, Mike Peterson aka Deathlok.





4. (7.03) "Alien Commies from the Future!" - A surprising leap forward in time leads S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie and his team to 1955 and strands their Chronicom ally Enoch back in 1931. In order to stop the Chronicoms from launching their plan to dismantle the agency, the team must infiltrate one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most secure bases.





5. (5.22) "The End" - In the Season Five finale, a companion piece to the movie "THE AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR", S.H.I.E.L.D. Coulson and his team attempt to rewrite the fate of Earth by stopping the supervillain Graviton from destroying most of the Earth in his search for a gravitonium deposit underneath Chicago.





6. (3.10) "Maveth" - In this compelling mid-Season Three finale, both Coulson and Agent Leo Fitz deal with Grant Ward and a team of HYDRA agents on the same distant planet that Agent Jemma Simmons had earlier found herself trapped on, after using the Monolith to travel there.





7. (2.17) "Melinda" - In this Season Two episode, Agent Melinda May looks into Coulson’s actions as S.H.I.E.L.D. Director, while in control of the agency’s main base. This episode also flashes back to how her first encounter with the Inhumans led to a great deal of trauma for her.





8. (7.07) "The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and The D" - After Mack and Agent Deke Shaw find themselves stranded in 1982; the former retreats to his deserted childhood home to deal with the deaths of his parents and the latter recruits a group of new agents.





9. (6.03) "Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson" - While the still missing Fitz and his Chronicom traveling companion, Enoch Coltrane, try their luck at the casino on the planet Kitson; Jemma and Daisy find themselves in a drug-induced situation, while searching for him.





10. (5.05) "Rewind" - With the help of former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Lance Hunter; nothing will stop Fitz from finding his lost team after their disappearance from a diner at the end of Season Four.
