Bruce Wayne is seemingly getting a fresh look in Matt Reeves' DC franchise.

The Batman - Part II, which is in the early stages of production and set to start filming in June, may give Robert Pattinson's hero a big upgrade. In set photos from Liverpool Echo, a new version of the Bat-logo was spotted on camera cranes.

In set photos, the new version of the logo is more squished on the blue background. Several Gotham City Police Department cars were also seen in the images, confirming upcoming sequences with the vehicles. While none of The Batman - Part II cast members were spotted, preparations are taking place to finish building the set pieces for the full shooting. This comes shortly after Reeves recently unveiled the actor line-up for the upcoming DC sequel.

The idea that Pattinson's Caped Crusader will possibly have a new costume is not far-fetched, as most superhero movies always see the titular character upgrading their suit. Following The Batman movie ending in 2022, Bruce has gained more experience as a crime fighter, which can organically lead the billionaire to evolve his look.

One confirmed element for Reeves' highly anticipated sequel is that The Batman - Part II will occur during the winter. That would naturally serve as a good reason for Bruce to create the next version of his Bat-suit, especially if he ends up facing someone like Mister Freeze, who is theorized to be in the film.

At the time of this story's publication, it's still unknown who in The Batman universe will be the next threat to the Gotham City vigilante. Reports have claimed that Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson will portray Harvey and Gilda Dent, but their roles are still being kept under wraps. While Reeves has confirmed that the two Marvel stars are boarding his film, he hasn't unveiled who they are actually playing in The Batman - Part II. The same goes for Charles Dance, who is officially in the sequel, but he is currently rumored to play Harvey's father, Christopher.

If either Dent serves as the primary antagonist, it will likely not be long until future The Batman - Part II set photos hint at whether Two-Face will be the central villain. While Harvey is the most famous DC foe, there have been comics where Gilda became a version of the famous enemy.

The Batman - Part II will be released in theaters on October 1, 2027.
