It's Florida, Man
10/10

Murder. Manhunts. Manatees. FLORIDA MAN, a new Netflix limited series from creator Donald Todd (Ugly Betty, This Is Us), follows a struggling ex-cop (Edgar Ramírez) who is forced to return to his home state of Florida to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend. What should be a quick gig becomes a wildly spiraling journey into buried family secrets, and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong.

Florida Man, from creator Donald Todd, is a wild odyssey into a sunny place for shady people.

In an alternate 1985 where former superheroes exist, the murder of a colleague sends active vigilante Rorschach into his own sprawling investigation, uncovering something that could completely change the course of history as we know it. Silk Spectre(Malin Akerman) and Nite Owl ( Patrick Wilson ) are breaking into the prison to free Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley). Prison cabtenr scene has become one of my favourite scenes in that movie, it shows how badasss Rorschacha is.

Opus
10/10

Opus (2025) is a chilling descent into the cult of celebrity, exploring how fame, ego, and unchecked adoration can become deadly. The story follows Ariel, an investigative journalist, who is invited, alongside other media figures, to a mysterious desert compound by Alfred Moretti, a washed-up pop star staging a disturbing comeback. What begins as a high-concept listening party quickly unravels into psychological manipulation, ritualistic control, and murder, as Moretti transforms from artist to self-styled prophet. Through scenes of forced conformity, performative purification, and symbolic executions, Opus dissects how belief becomes branding, how art becomes doctrine, and how critics can become pawns in the very stories they’re trying to expose. In the end, the most terrifying revelation isn’t the cult itself. But how its ideology survives through the very medium meant to destroy it. Opus is a haunting metaphor for our modern obsession with fame, and a warning: when we stop critiquing artists and start worshiping them, the truth becomes just another tool for manipulation.

A tight-knit friend group gathers after years apart, navigating the complexities of ambition, relationships, and how time has changed not sure it people know this but the original concept for always Sunny in Philadelphia was going to be Glenn, Rob and Charlie basically playing themselves as struggling actors in LA but they decided to try something ditanf made it about a dice bar in Rob's home of Philly. It's getting to the point where Rachel just plays the same character in every movie/show .
