This is earning one of my few no-votes, and it's hard to put in to words why.
I don't dislike this, but this series doesn't appeal to me very much, and as I see more and more entries, they tend to be escalating, while at the same time not expanding very much.
I think if I had more attachment to the characters, I would be more in to this, but I can only really view this from the writing perspective, and I didn't get much of a dimension on Jude or Alexander here. Just one dimensional slugfest with powers, and what flirtations with depth happened were cursory.
All of that being rambled, this is good work, and deserves recognition for that. It's just not my taste.
