SCP Foundation

This idea started originally from a very specific headcanon I made up of how to make Scranton Reality Anchors work that I found really neat, but couldn't really put into a satisfying story. Originally I thought I might make a technical instruction manual kind of thing from the Foundation and I still might, but for now that idea has evolved into this. I think that should be it for now for Veil upon Veil articles that are just mostly worldbuilding.

I’ve not read No Return, nor do I have any familiarity with the canon. But the way this is written speaks to a larger pathos of the decay of surburbia, and has enough personality and intrigue to its worldbuilding and prose that it stands as a good piece by itself, separate of its connections. Which is honestly the best thing you can have in the Serpents Hand GOI format—these often end up cluttered, and difficult to decipher, but this is very clean, and has a good heart to it. +1

This isn’t really anything wrong with the article itself, but this kind of unnecessary, bizarre interference (while actually pretty tame by their standards morally speaking [even if it’s almost optimized for its offensiveness to the Hand’s sensibilities]) is so utterly foreign to the Foundation’s usual MO it feels to me like this version of them might as well have been another GOI altogether. [Edit to note that I’ve hardly read any of “Veil upon Veil”; presumably this is in-line their established character in that context.]

This got recommended to me by someone when I asked for good serpents hand stuff and I was not disappointed. I really like the way that you connected everything and the banter was pretty fun. It makes perfect sense for the foundation to do something like this. The implications are fascinating keep up the good work I will read more of this canon.
