All artists can take influence from different artists/works. Some times they do a straight up homage






Takeuchi herself said that she based it off William Blake's (Ok she didn't mention exactly WHICH painting it was but it is most likely "Satan in His Original Glory'')




Now these have always amused me 8D resting on air I guess :X
