Listens: Within Temptation "Running up that Hill"

Roswell again

I´m through Season 2 until Episode 8 ("Meet the Dupes").

And I saw a really fine piece of acting by Jason Behr on 2.05 ("The End of the World"). I mean: Everyone is always great in the show (esp. on "Meet the Dupes", where every "alien" had to play his/her twin, too), but in this episode Jason has to play a "Future Max" and his younger self, and they both are so different it´s not funny.

Future Max looked like a rocker: Longer Hair,  waistcoat and nothing under it... Just plain hot. But everything in his behaviour was "grown up": He knew, what he was in the past for, and he did everything he had to do, to make it happen. He was sure of himself and of what he was doing. And he encouraged Liz to do, what was to do, even if that meant, he would never exist...

Seeing Future Max, was showing me, how ... immature and unsure Teen Max is. Well, a teenie is allowed to be immature and unsure and so, don´t get me wrong. The thing is, that I always thought even Teen-Max quite grown up, since he has so much on his shoulders. The thing is, that Future Max was totally fitting into his "King Shoes" and Teen Max still has to grow into them - though he tries hard. And I (blind as always *G*) saw that only by comparing them both in this episode.

I really liked Jason in this episode. He even made them look different, and I´m neither talking about the rocker style nor the make-up. Great work, Mr. Behr! *claps*
