got this result pasting in some new material as well as the PotC drawerfic written 5-6 years ago and recently dredged up from my old LJ. never would have guessed Palahniuk on my own, but looking at my top bookshelf, it's not an off-the-wall suggestion. definitely with a dash of early!Stephen King.
