jestemAlpha – The Last Source of Light (Polish Christian Rap)

jestemAlpha (original spelling) appeared quite unexpectedly, although judging by the style of his rap, he must have had contact with it much earlier.

Alpha’s flow is stable, balanced, and well-practiced, while still maintaining a relaxed demeanor and his unique characteristics. We’re not dealing with a lyrical “butcher” who breaks verses on boastful loops, but rather with a refined philosopher-wanderer. Thus narrating his insights in an illustrative, loving, and understanding manner.

The Last Source of Light is a tale of (emotional) growth. Alpha is a traveler in the labyrinth of feelings, relationships, expectations, commitments, and aspirations, and the album conveys an escape from a world full of fake news, promises, relativization, and pursuit. Therefore, it is a very personal work, though requiring understanding upon the first listen. To properly grasp Przemek’s alter ego, his life story, and experiences, the music videos likely recorded for all the tracks on the album provide assistance, undoubtedly making them worth recommending.
