Okay, so sometimes, I'm such a girl. Like last night. So, it's like one thirty AM and I'm chatting online withflipflopadd1ct and I see this big, weird beetle-thing crawling up the wall/ceiling at the foot of my bed. Now, I'm okay with normal bugs like ants and spiders (not a bug, I know) and moths and things. Those I'm fine with. I only get freaked if they appear close to me. I get startled. But something like this thing, which is large and freaky looking, I'm not so okay with.
And with my bed where it is, under a low, sloping ceiling, the bug was too close for comfort. Also, I had nothing with which to smush the bug. In my room are boxes and my clothes and pretty much nothing else. So, me, genuinely freaked and certainly not fully lucid, I move down to the foot of the bed as the bug crawls along the ceiling towards the head of the bed. I watch in horror as it proceeds to fall onto my pillows. By now I'm on the floor and freaking. Giant bug. On my pillow. Where my head would have been had I been sleeping. Eww. Ewww. Ewwww! So I get terribly grossed out and the bug just crawls back and forth between my two pillows and the head of the bed.
Yeah. I slept on the couch.
