Well...

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving went well. I can't seem to shake this sick. It's moved into my chest and nose now. I'm not sure which I hate more, a constant cough or a runny nose.

Like sisyphean posted on her LJ, my mom's dog got ran over. Just as we pulled up to the house, everyone was kneeling around him. I'm glad I got to see him, but I'm sorry for my mom. Before Aaron was born, her horse broke out of the paddock somehow and wandered down to the road while they were in town. She got hit by a car too.

The dogs are always chasing the cars that come and go in the driveway. They run around them like they're herding sheep. We were all worried one would get ran over as one of the dogs has been hit (not hard) with cars five times. But I'm still shocked it really did happen and it happened to the sweetest of the dogs.

Aaron is eating really well witih a fork. He's still a little awkward with it, but he can get most everything he wants on it. He's not too hot on turkey, but he liked the stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, and fruit salad. His appetite is small right now anyway, so that was plenty for him.

I'm waaaaaaay behind on my NaNo now, but I'm not going to sweat it. I'm still going to work on it because I like where it's going and I hope to pound something out that I'll be able to work into a novel for publication. Hopehope. This being sick for the last week has just kicked my butt.

I'm feeling tired right now and all I did was go pick up my paycheck and get a few groceries. I'm going to try to work on my NaNo a bit more and maybe answer LJ replies. But Jim is off today, tomorrow, and Sunday, so I might not get to LJ replies until Monday.

Love to my friends list. I hope your holidays were good.
