Explainer: 2026 UTME: Why you can’t print your JAMB result yet

Candidates who have been unable to print their UTME result slips are advised not to panic, as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has only enabled result checking via SMS for now. The board says results are being released in batches, and the result slip printing feature will be activated later.
JAMB also warned candidates against tampering with their results, stressing that altering official SMS scores is a criminal offence. Candidates are urged to use only official platforms and follow the proper process once the result slip printing becomes available.
