Batlings are impish bat-like warriors used by Queen Bansheera and the demons.
History
Batlings wield small swords. They were also seen wielding cannons that fired energy blasts. They were all destroyed by the Rangers in the finale during the destruction of the Megazords and the Aquabase and then during the final battle against Bansheera in "The Fate of Lightspeed" Part 2.

- Teleportation: Batlings can teleport when they are called into battle.
- Bat Swarming: The Batlings can disperse into a swarm of bats when teleporting.
- Extraordinary Leaper: The Batlings can leap at incredible distances.
- Water Immunity: Unlike most demons, Batlings cannot be harmed by water.
Abilities
- Flight: Being bat-like soldiers, the Batlings can fly thanks to their wings.
- Surface Hanging: Batlings can also hang upside down from ceilings like regular bats.

- Energy Blasts: The Batlings can fire energy blasts from their cannons.

- Missiles: The Batlings can also fire missiles from their cannons.
- Bat Bombs: Also when attacking the Aquabase, the Batlings used bat-shaped bombs that can fly and explode.
- Battering Ram: The Batlings also used a battering ram to try and smash down a door at the Aquabase.

Themed after cinematic vampire bats, these grunts are implied by name to be infantile/juvenile/lesser versions thereof, as in bat + -ling.
