McKay/Sheppard- 10 recs
Orbital Conjunction by kageygirl--McKay watches Sheppard's hands as he steers the puddle jumper.
The look on Sheppard's face was more speculative than anything else, and Rodney clung to the faint hope that Sheppard had somehow missed Rodney's preoccupation. Which had possibly escalated into "fixation."
Only Human by Laitaine--John catches McKay during a moment of vulnerability.
He watched as McKay closed his eyes, drawing in a deep breath and letting it out slowly. He opened his eyes and took another steady breath; it seemed to centre him.
Really Bad Sex by Sethoz--It's funny and silly and sexy. Rodney is a sex god.
“Like that?” Rodney asked as his hand trailed back along the inside of John's leg, a smile on his lips as John twitched and cursed slightly, muttering about teasing. The smile on Rodney's face became larger.
Sheppardizing by lillyjk--Rodney's fantasies are dirty and crass and sexy.
Then there was Teyla with her caramel skin and good god, he’d always had a thing for women who could kick his ass. He likes to imagine her astride him, candlelight flickering over her body as she tells him in contractionless detail just how she is going to fuck his brains out.
Untitled by beth666ann--It's a small moment in time that describes John's feelings for Rodney so well.
Rodney's scared: his mouth is slashing downward at an even stronger angle than it usually does, his eyes are bright and wild, and he's belting out, John estimates, probably about a hundred thousand words per minute, the edges and ends of each of them precise and laser sharp.
Back-Up Plan by kageygirl--Sheppard tries to avoid a diplomatic incident caused by his hotness.
Sheppard kept up the glare for a moment, then shook his head. "No, apparently, it's a custom at the Spring Festival for the unattached young ladies of the province to sample the spring wine and…" Sheppard broke off, scratching the back of his head and looking away from Rodney.
Call by julad--Poker and flirting.
Himself, sweating and fidgeting and breathing unsteadily. Elizabeth, using some kind of diplomatic superpower to make his bluffs collapse every single time. Teyla, who could hit as hard with two pair as she did with two sticks. Ford, who looked happy and guileless no matter what he'd been dealt. Radek, well, they'd once been friends, but clearly a Czech was never to be trusted. And finally, John, who could count cards as easily as Rodney, but could also smile blandly or raise an eyebrow, or curl his lip, or rub his throat, until Rodney didn't know what to think, and until John had nearly all the popcorn and Rodney only a handful of kernels left to bet with.
Cred by Resonant--John tries to keep Rodney's attention.
John had Rodney's attention for two whole minutes once. He was talking about his efforts to entirely eliminate friction in the engine of Jason Bayard's father's golf cart, and he was just getting to the first speeding ticket when Zelenka walked by and said, "equation," and that was it.
Oblivious by shalott--Rodney and John are so themselves and the situation is so ridiculous that I can imagine it happening.
Rodney rolled his eyes. "No, I'll just let anyone who comes by my room have me for the price of a bottle of vodka," he said. Then he had an attack of honesty and added, "Well, I mean, probably I would, if they were hot. But that's not the point. The point is, I just can't. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, but I've hit the ceiling on stress as it is, and I'm going to, um, go get something to eat now," backing towards the door, because he didn't really trust himself not to cave if John pushed much harder.
Shouldn't by Lierdumoa--Furtive, secretive sex.
"Oh, yeah, well one month we got this giant shipment of cucumbers and I figured if the food was going to be that horrendously awful I might as well learn something while I ate..." Rodney trails off into a mortified silence. He never could get the hang of not revealing shameful and embarrassing things about himself in bed.
Other- 3 recs
Perimeter by Casspeach--Lorne/Parrish, my secret OTP.
David can feel himself relaxing some more. He knows that Lorne only said it to make him feel less alone, less ridiculous in his fear and anxiety. He recognises that it’s simple politeness, but that doesn’t make it any less kind.
My Soul From Out That Shadow by Frostfire--A disturbing look into Steve the Wraith's mind. Post-Poisoning The Well.
Major Sheppard speaks to him from barely a hand’s length away. Major Sheppard taunts, and teases, and paces around and around and around his blue-lit world until he thinks he will batter himself against the field until he is unconscious. So close.
Alone In My Mind by James Walkswithwind--Sheppard/McKay/Beckett--I love angsty Beckett in this one.
"Do you have any idea how hard it is, listening to everyone's plans for what they're going to do while they're on Earth? Talking about holidays and seeing their families and eating bread that hasn't been freeze-dried and carried halfway across the universe? And now you come and tell me you'll all be doing it often -- as often as I can arrange it, repairing the ZPMs for you so you can go home--"
