Points of Reference by lamardeuse--Geek!Flirting. So cute.

And right then, John decided that all those studies had been wrong. Hours and hours of television viewing in his childhood hadn’t turned him into an idiot or a sociopath; in fact, they’d proved to be very useful in his adult life. He’d learned a lot from those old SF shows, even if they had gotten it mostly wrong about how fucking insane the universe really was.

Pop Psychology by tigerlady--Rodney's jealous of the attention John pays Ronon. Though in fairness, after "Duet," wouldn't you be too?

"Cool. You're in for a show. Ronon's incredible. He's got this one move where he spins in the air and does this knife hand to the neck, knocks anybody flat like that," John said, snapping his fingers to illustrate.

The Four Elements by eliade--A conversation between Rodney and John. Hysterical. gen.

"When I was six, my parents made me see a child psychologist because I imagined an alternate world where I ruled as king. Rodneysia."

Undone by lyndac--Rodney watching John put on his mask.

"You do this every time, doesn't it get old?" John asks, because it's getting old for him. He doesn't the need the constant reminder of shedding one skin for another.

Depth Perception by The Grrrl--I'm not fond of "stranded alone in a deserted location" stories, but this one really works quite well.

"Did you mean it, Rodney?" His voice was rough. "Because you shouldn't say stuff like that unless you mean it."

Perpetual by Sage--Rodney makes John the perfect birthday gift.

Leaning against the base, there was a small white index card with two words on it: HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Submersion by Nixa Jane--I enjoy watching Rodney go a little crazy. He does it so well.

"God," Rodney snapped, irritably. "Even my hallucinations don't listen to me. Look, just go away, I'm very busy."

Life Blood by Miss Pamela--So cute! I think that John flirting is just adorable, because he knows Rodney so well.

For once, Rodney's brain was the last thing to catch up. His nose said, "Coffee!" his eyes said, "Baggie?" and his brain said "Oh my GOD, it is coffee!"

Untalented And Completely Unprepared, But Giving It His Best Shot Anyway by Dasha--Turns the tables by giving John the allergic reaction instead of Rodney. Some minor grammatical errors, easy enough to ignore. I love Rodney's voice.

Rodney squatted beside him, considered trying to wrestle down the uniform trousers and gave up, pushing the needle in through the cloth instead. "That's your blood pressure crashing. The 'shock' part of 'anaphylactic shock.' Welcome to my world." Rodney adjusted his com for longer range. "Teyla, when you get to the gate, tell them we need Dr. Beckett right now."

Fractured Fairy Tales by Amireal--Another post-ep for "The Hive." Can you tell I'm a little obsessed with these yet?

Something shivery and pleasant starts at Rodney's chest when Sheppard utters the words 'My Team', capital letters of importantness booming inside of his ears. "Well, it's the thought that counts." Rodney says trying to be comforting.

It's All About The Food by _bettina_--Yeah, Rodney so would make porny food noises.

Rodney just looked at him as if he had lost his mind and maybe he had. "Those... porny sounds... when you eat." There. He'd said it. "Just stop them."

Visiting Hours by Lilysaid--A very interesting premise here, with Rodney being the only thing standing between John and insanity.

“You don’t need to be,” she says gently. “But even non-touchy types like yourself are used to a certain degree of human interaction: a high five, a hand on the shoulder, even the presence of your colleagues working nearby. Colonel Sheppard has been deprived of that contact for weeks, and it’s probably made worse by the fact that when he does receive attention, it’s negative.”

“For your information, I have never high-fived anyone in my life.”

Deck The Halls by Claire--Drunken holiday sex!

Rodney could have kicked himself. He'd finally got John Sheppard into bed and he didn't even remember it. He covered his face with his hands and moaned.

Take A Chance On Me by chopchica--I think it's the periphery Lorne/Parrish that makes me love this one so much.

“Even television shows have missions that actually work out. I’ve seen the episodes. The aliens are friendly, and nobody’s soul gets sucked out of their chest. Even better, whenever the dilithium crystals break, they’re always repairable. I want that episode.”
