Video Tips

  • Position your phone vertically, not horizontally.
  • If you have a friend filming you, ask them to rest their elbows on a steady surface or sit down to film.
  • Use a plain or neutral background.
  • Position yourself facing toward a light source.
  • Don’t be too close or too far away from the phone camera; head and shoulders in the video is ideal.
  • Eliminate background music; minimize background noise if you can.
  • Speak loudly, clearly and maybe a little slower than you usually do.
