Interpreting Zhu Xi's Classical Hermeneutics from the Perspective of Gadamer's Philosophical Hermeneutics

Abstract

Gadamer's hermeneutics peak of the Western representatives, Zhu Xi's classic hermeneutics also reached the peak of China's classical interpretation. Both in theory has similarities with the classic philosophical hermeneutics hermeneutics as the ontology, Gadamer and Zhu Xi's theory of the former see the shield on the understanding of the discussion, practical wisdom and so on. From this analysis and compare the two masters of interpretation theory, to find out the commonalities and complementarities, can promote the development of Western interpretation of the theory
