Ukraine in the Eu – Myth or Reality

Abstract
The author analyses integration opportunities of the present-day Ukraine into the EU. Proclaiming its independence ten years ago Ukraine has determined its way of development towards building a democratic society, step by step directing its movement towards the European choice. Today Ukraine's integration into the EU is declared as the state's strategic goal. However there exist a certain number of economical, social, political and other factors, which considerably hamper the integration movement. The author expresses his point of view on how to transform Ukraine's European choice into reality. Key words: integration opportunities, strategic partnership, European choice.Other Versions
