Abstract

_English summary:_ A sketch of the current doctrine of God could take the following form: On the one side are those who maintain that statements about God refer to facts and that these facts have a robust ontological meaning beyond this world. On the other side are those who have taken leave of this concept and who trace the discourse on God back to the expression of an attitude, of a state of consciousness or of a feeling. In his work, the author transforms this supposedly complete either/or into a neither/nor. In a conversation with Wittgenstein and Dewi Z. Phillips' contemplative approach, Hartmut von Sass outlines an alternative beyond metaphysics and reduction which traces the discourse on God back to the place in which, in view of existential questions, it belongs: in the alanguage games of faith._ German description:_ Eine Skizze gegenwartiger Gotteslehre konnte wie folgt aussehen: Auf der einen Seite stehen diejenigen, die behaupten, dass sich Satze uber Gott auf Tatsachen beziehen und dass diese Tatsachen in einem arobusten ontologischen Sinn jenseits dieser Welt liegen. Auf der anderen Seite stehen diejenigen, die sich von diesem Bild verabschiedet haben und die Rede von Gott auf den Ausdruck einer Einstellung, eines Bewusstseins, eines Gefuhls reduzieren. Dieses vermeintlich vollstandige Entweder/Oder wird in dieser Arbeit in ein Weder/Noch uberfuhrt. Im Gesprach mit Wittgenstein und dem kontemplativen Denken von Dewi Z. Phillips entwirft Hartmut von Sass eine Alternative jenseits von Metaphysik und Reduktion, welche die Rede von Gott an dem Ort aufsucht, wo sie angesichts existentieller Fragen konkret wird: den 'Sprachspielen des Glaubens'.
