Abstract

The Wave Energy Exchange (WEX) principle is based on the hypothesis that the intrinsic nature of matter is physically real energy waves, propagating through 4D spacetime, that interact via exchange energy at every scale of the universe, and exist independently of whether they are being measured or observed. The WEX principle offers precise definitions for ambiguous terms in quantum theory including what constitutes a measurement, a measurement device, an observation, an observer, and the boundary between the quantum and classical worlds. The WEX principle resolves numerous mysteries and paradoxes that pervade quantum theory while remaining consistent with both theory and experimental evidence.
