Abstract

The basis of the Modern Periodic Table is the Modern Periodic Law. But it suffers from some drawbacks like position of ‘H’ element, accommodation of lanthanides and actinides. To overcome these drawbacks modified versions of periodic table named conical/hemispherical forms are being constructed. In these forms the groups and periods are positioned according to solid angle and group angle magnitudes. In modified Periodic Table, the exact position of ‘H’ is at the center of conical forms and at the center of hemispherical form. The fixed and correct position of lanthanides, actinides and g-block elements is kept inside the body of periodic table.
