Economic Globalization and the Confucian Ethics of "Family"
Abstract
In this paper, a brief description of "globalization" and "economic globalization" implying that the potential level of cultural integration; then even from the sub-family increases, delayed marriage and childbearing and child's group phenomenon, "Home" discusses the three aspects of diversity of economic globalization on the traditional Confucian "family" and "home" deconstruction of the ethics of the impact and influence; last from the Confucian virtue ethics that should be fulfilled, some because of the road . In this paper, we firstly explain succinctly the meanings of "globalization" and "economic globalization," pointing out the aspects of possible cultural assimilation. Then we explore the impact of economic globalization on the traditional Confucian "families" and "family" ethics in terms of: first, the increase of separated families ; second, the collective phenomena of late marriages, late child births and only children; and third, the multi -discourse about "family."
