Abstract

The paper flows starting from two moments of Foucault’s production, by the works from the ides of 1975 (in which is axed at the February 19th of 1974 lecture, from Abnormals Course) and extracts from the 1980’s thoughts to be a better understanding about avowal’s (aveu) problematics following Foucault movements (as his letter marks) between the past and the present on its correlated veridictions. The focus will be mainly on the genealogy of the ecclesiastic confession (confession) and its mutations in two moments, by tensioning his reading impact of the first Pères (specially Augustine) in his history of the West sexuality.
