Abstract

A formal meeting of the Academic Council of the H.S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy, NAS of Ukraine, was held November 23, 2021 in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Institute. Distinguished guests from various institutions of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and Universities of Kyiv were in attendance. This article present a summary of the speeches of the participants of this solemn event. The words of our colleagues reflect the deep knowledge of the history and achievements of the Institute and the great respect for them by the scientific community of Ukraine. The Director of the Institute, Anatoliy Mykolayovych Yermolenko, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech and congratulated colleagues and guests on this anniversary. He outlined the main stages of development of this center of philosophical thought in Ukraine in a complex social, cultural and political context. Other speakers included R. Stefanchuk, A.
