Abstract

This essay aims to engage in a critical dialogue with Scarlett Marton’sNietzsche: Philosopher of Suspicionby exploring three central themes: first, the interplay between Nietzsche’s aphoristic and essayistic style and his experimental approach to philosophy; second, his vision of a transvaluative ethics that seeks to reclaim human vitality, threatened by the ideological domestication of Christian morality; and third, the worldview Nietzsche employs to anchor this ethics in the reality of life itself and natural phenomena at large: the will to power.
