Abstract

The interview concerns the historical and ethic background of Afghan civil war, the character of the Taliban rules, possibilities of a compromise with the Taliban, the concept of future democratic Afghan state, the fate of archaeological excavations and historical artefacts in Afghanistan, ethnic complexities of Afghanistan, relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan, US policy in Afghanistan.
