The Confucian Doctrine on the Rule of Right: A Critique of Samuel P. Huntington 's The Clash Of Civilization and The Remaking of World Order
Abstract
Since the development of Chinese culture since, with regard to its basic meaning kingly thought, the reason is different from the hegemonic ideology kingly ideology, because ideology in the kingly line of Heaven Han Yun Yan, Jen and the love object, to Heaven and his ilk act as a government of the Road The basic goals and handed the anti-God, against the people of difference, kingly ideology today, is still to be encouraged, but because in today's world order and future development, if not the benevolent idea of the core, is still so high-handed and powerful wind popular, the world order, will be destroyed, and the world peace, no to peace will, therefore, stressed the kingly kingly thoughts and ideas to strengthen research, or may be the way the future development of the world. This paper from the history that three aspects of moral principles and this meaning to tell benevolent development of ideas, the Confucian idea of benevolent system, and kingly ideology in the face of today's world order, how to play their role in rebuilding the world. The rule of right has always been the fundamental immanence of Chinese culture. The rule of right is different from the rule by force in that the fundamental goals of the former-loving all people and animals, philanthropism, rule by the principle of heaven - - are distinguished from the rule by force, which is against both the will of Heaven and the will of Man. The rule of fight is still worth promoting in that the world order today and its development in the future will be disrupted and the peace of the world will be destroyed as long as we don't take the rule of right as the central value while the rule by force and violence is still widespread. Therefore, the emphasis on the rule of right and the relevant research will be the development of the world in the future. In this paper, we will account for development of the doctrine on the rule of right along with its historical meaning, rightful meaning and current meaning; besides, we will also discuss how the doctrine should restructure the world among the present world order
