Abstract

Previously speaking, there were three methods of studying Confucianism, namely times-oriented method, school-oriented method, and question-oriented method. This lecture is based on times-oriented method, as all typical figures and trends are discussed at the period. As for the transition of major schools for several thousand years and the discussion of important issues scattered hither and thither, they were completely separated in chronological order, so it is not easy to see them clearly.
