Abstract
Twentieth century, the use of "materialism", "idealist" discourse system construction in the course of history of Chinese philosophy, Xunzi "Heaven" on a typical case of over-interpretation of a, non-academic reasons for weaving "great materialist "and the title and so forth. With the advent of archaeological materials in recent years, we find that: Xunzi "Heaven" theory and Confucius, Mencius, "day" theory, as the same implies a "master of the day", "natural days" and "moral principles of the day" unite in justice and other items. Confucian philosophy of "day" does not exist a "religious days" to "philosophy of the day" philosophy of the transition process. In terms of broad, on Confucian philosophy and official Qin and Han Dynasties, "religious days" and "philosophy of the day" not only are coerced together from beginning to end, and "religious days" would gradually strengthen the trend. In the process throughout the twentieth century of constructing the history of Chinese philosophy with terms like materialism and idealism, Xun Zi's doctrine of the heaven is a textbook case of over interpretation caused by those laureate materialists. As more and more archeological materials have been discovered recently , we can easily find that Xun Zi's doctrine about the heaven is just like the one of Confucianism, implying the meanings of the "ruling heaven," the "natural heaven" and the "doctrinal heaven." The concept of the "heaven" in the Pre-qin Confucianism didn't contain the transition from the "religious heaven" to the "philosophical heaven." Generally, in view of the Confucian philosophy of the Pre-qin Period and the Han Dynasties, the "religious heaven" and the "philosophical heaven" were always intertwined with each other as the "religious heaven" was strengthened.
