Abstract

Moral psychology is the study of our psychological relationship to morality. Theorists have often focused centrally either on Reason or on Appetite, i.e., desire, and the present work will take the latter approach. Acting for moral reasons, praiseworthiness, and virtue can all be understood in terms of intrinsic desires with the right sense and reference.
