The 1974 papers by Ostriker et al. [1974] and Einasto et al. [1974] are considered by many to be pivotal in establishing the epistemic foundations for the dark matter hypothesis. From a theory confirmation point of view, the circumstances surrounding this pivot are difficult to reconcile with common approaches to epistemic support. First, the papers did not introduce any new observations. Second, they synthesized existing data from two separate contexts to construct a hypothesis under which the joint data became evidentially (...) relevant. Third, this synthesis was motivated in part by non-empirical reasons. The situation excludes both temporal novelty and use novelty because already known data was used in the construction of the hypothesis. Yet, the papers are widely regarded as epistemically transformative. I argue that a Bayesian can model the epistemic significance of the 1974 papers without concession. By recognizing how the papers reconfigured the existing data to bear on a missing-mass hypothesis, a novel epistemic aspect emerges. By introducing a shared halo parameterization, they made the previously disjoint data mutually constrained, thereby changing their evidential role. I develop this idea through two concepts — evidential reconfiguration and structural novelty — leveraged through Myrvold’s Bayesian account of unification. The result makes Bayesianism faithful to the inferential practices in this significant part of scientific history, explains how the 1974 papers strengthened the evidential case for dark matter, and expands the Bayesian toolbox with a way to treat novel structure as epistemologically salient. This article claims that the salient ethical risk of generative AI is not machine consciousness but the social efficacy of its simulation---what we call pseudo-consciousness. Read through Heidegger’s Gestell, Jonas’s anticipatory responsibility, and Floridi’s information ethics, we relocate appraisal from putative inner states to interactional effects in the infosphere. We formalize a two-part mechanism/uptake frame: functional introspection (FI)---first-person, reason-giving, self-repair, and local cross-turn stability---and ethical illusion (EI)---shifts in trust, respect, compliance, and moral ratings that attenuate on disclosure. Building on this, (...) we propose simulated presence literacy (SPL) as a domain-specific facet of AI literacy that teaches users to perceive FI, appraise EI, and respond with counter-uptake practices. We then advance an ethics of appearance in design: four levers (semio-transparency, attenuation of reciprocity illusion, calibrated trust, and constraints on first-person density), two KPIs (FI Score, EI Index), a minimal 2x2 to test mechanism -> uptake and disclosure attenuation, and a five-step audit loop for governance. The result is a humanistic response---reconfiguration, not reinvention---that keeps fluency from passing for presence by making simulation legible, bounded, and accountable, with heightened precautions for vulnerable populations. In humanities research, teaching, and curation, treating LLMs as semantic artifacts, rather than as subjects, preserves interpretive agency while retaining the benefits of fluent assistance. The rapid expansion of cyberspace is fundamentally reshaping human existence, social relations, spatial structures, and mechanisms of order formation. These transformations pose significant theoretical challenges to Confucian philosophy, which has traditionally been grounded in embodied individuals, stable relational networks, and community-based ethical orders. Drawing on the framework of Cyberism, this paper re-examines Confucian philosophy through four foundational dimensions—human, relations, space, and order—and analyzes how emerging socio-technical conditions, including digital humans, algorithmic mediation, hybrid virtual–physical environments, and platform governance, destabilize its underlying (...) assumptions. We argue that these transformations do not render Confucian ethics obsolete; rather, they call for its reinterpretation and reconstruction within a cyber-enabled context. Building on this analysis, the paper proposes three conceptual pathways for the transformation of Confucian ethics in the digital age: digital rituality as a framework for regulating interaction order in platform environments; algorithmic benevolence as a normative orientation for embedding human-centered values into technological decision-making; and platform-based community as a model for reconstituting public good under conditions of data-driven social organization. By articulating these concepts, the study contributes to bridging classical ethical traditions and contemporary digital governance, and offers a Confucian approach to addressing the ethical challenges of cyber civilization. Literary cognitivists claim that works of literature can have a significant cognitive value and can be effective in providing readers with opportunities for learning. Anti-cognitivists challenge cognitivists by questioning how literature can offer arguments or evidence for readers’ adoption of new knowledge or understanding. As a mode of side-stepping these objections, cognitivists have recently tended to make their claims more modest and claim only that literature clarifies knowledge readers already possess or provides the opportunity for the development of certain general (...) cognitive skills. In this chapter, I put forward a more bold account of literature’s cognitive value. I argue that a reader’s engagement with a literary work can lead to reconfiguration of their understanding of the subject matter with which the work deals. This bolder defence of literature’s cognitive value, and the account I offer of how readers can access such cognitive value, indicate how literature can form a significant part of character education. This article develops the concept of cyborg activism as novel configuration of democratic subjectivity in the Information Age by exploring the online collectivity Anonymous as a prototype. By fusing elements of human/machine and organic/digital, the cyborg disrupts modern logics of binary thinking. Cyborg activism emerges as the reconfiguration of equality/hierarchy, reason/emotion and nihilism/idealism. Anonymous demonstrates how through the use of contingent and ephemeral digital personae hierarchies in cyborg activism prove more volatile than in face-to-face settings. Emotions appear as an (...) essential part of a politics of passion, which enables pursuing laughter and joy, expressing anger and experiencing empowerment as part of a reasoned, strategic politics. Anonymous’ political content reconfigures nihilist sentiments, frustration and political disenchantment, on one hand, with idealist world views, on the other. This enables the cohabitation and partial integration of a great diversity of political claims rooted in various ideologies. (shrink)

This research note develops an empirical validation of the Structure‑Capability Analysis (SCA) within the General Theory of Operational Existence (TGEO). The framework models cognitive discontinuity as a discrete topological reconfiguration of a system’s accessibility matrix \(S\), triggered when accumulated informational tension—Operium—exceeds a critical resilience threshold. To ensure non‑tautological falsifiability, a simulated autonomous agent is implemented without analytic access to the environment’s solution space. The experiment introduces an abrupt dimensional inversion that saturates gradient‑based optimization, after which the agent engages in (...) blind stochastic exploration of structural mutations. The Philosophy of Belonging: Stratified Reality, Dual Temporality, and the Scientific Reconfiguration of Contemporary Philosophy develops a scientifically grounded ontological framework designed to reconfigure contemporary philosophical discourse across analytic metaphysics, critical theory, liberal political philosophy, social ontology, post-structuralism, speculative realism, and existential phenomenology. The book introduces a tripartite stratified ontology—SDBO (material), SDBEO (evolutionary-biological), and SDBEIO (institutional-human)—derived from contemporary scientific knowledge rather than from aprioristic metaphysical premises. Across all strata operates dual temporality: synchronic relational structure (Tˢ) and diachronic irreversible unfolding (...) (Tᵈ). Central to the framework is the principle of imperfect belonging: relational embeddedness is ontologically fundamental, yet never complete. This structural imperfection generates evolutionary adaptation, institutional transformation, individual freedom, and creative divergence without endorsing ontological individualism or collectivist absorption. Rather than proposing another isolated philosophical doctrine, this work offers an explicit ontological cartography that situates major philosophical traditions within a shared scientific architecture. All SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) programmes that were conceived and put into practice since the 1960s have been based on anthropocentric ideas concerning the definition of intelligence on a cosmic-wide scale. Brain-based neuronal intelligence, augmented by AI, are currently thought of as being the only form of intelligence that can engage in SETI-type interactions, and this assumption is likely to be connected with the dilemma of the famous Fermi paradox. We argue that high levels of intelligence and cognition inherent (...) in ensembles of bacteria are much more likely to be the dominant form of cosmic intelligence, and the transfer of such intelligence is enabled by the processes of panspermia. We outline the main principles of bacterial intelligence, and how this intelligence may be used by the planetary-scale bacterial system, or the bacteriosphere, through processes of biological tropism, to connect to any extra-terrestrial microbial forms, independently of human interference. This monograph demonstrates that thinking operates through incalculable metabolic transformation where forgetting constitutes the explosive rupture enabling unprecedented emergence. Memory, creativity, imagination, and abstraction all belong to thinking's metabolic process, the continuous reconfiguration of experience into capability through selective erasure. Through analysis of Borges's Funes, Luria's mnemonist Shereshevsky, contemporary neuroscience, and Large Language Models' computational architecture, I establish that perfect memory creates pure difference perception, destroying the identity it promises to preserve. Drawing on Husserl's retention-modification structure, Bergson's virtual memory (...) as action tendency, Heidegger's threefold temporal ecstasis, Merleau-Ponty's invisible framework (membrure), Bachelard's epistemological rupture and temporal lacunae, and Kuhn's paradigm shifts as collective forgetting, I argue that thinking operates through what I term metabolic rupture, the incalculable explosion where inputs are destroyed to produce outputs that cannot be traced back to origins, with forgetting as the constitutive mechanism enabling this transformation. Memory serves as the system through which forgetting metabolizes experience into thought. This distinguishes living thought from computational synthesis, understanding from pattern matching, genuine creation from recombination. The distinction between synthesis (pattern combination preserving inputs) and metabolism (destructive transformation producing genuine novelty) reveals why current AI architectures cannot achieve thought despite sophisticated pattern matching. Through examination of Arendt's natality and Derrida's l'avenir (the to-come), I establish forgetting as the ontological foundation enabling genuinely new beginnings to enter existence through discontinuity itself, not cognitive failure but thinking's constitutive mechanism. Meditation offers a unique window into the mind’s construction of time and the possibility of experiencing a timeless present. This paper examines how deep meditative absorption (“introspective absorption”) can alter temporal cognition, integrating Cognitive Constructivism (CC) – the view that the mind actively constructs temporal experience via memory and prediction – with Existential Realism (ER) – the philosophical stance that only the present moment truly exists. We propose that meditation deconstructs habitual past-future mental projections, shifting cognition toward present-centered awareness. We (...) review theoretical background on how the brain’s predictive models create an internal sense of time (CC) and how meditation aligns experience with the present as the sole existent temporal dimension (ER). A methodological framework is outlined, combining neuroimaging (fMRI/EEG of brain networks), behavioral time-perception tasks, and phenomenological reports to study these effects. Empirical findings are synthesized: during meditation, default mode network activity (associated with autobiographical memory and future simulation) is reduced, while salience and attention networks are enhanced, reflecting greater sensory grounding in the “now.” Autonomic markers show increased parasympathetic tone (e.g. slower breathing, higher heart-rate variability) and neurochemical changes consistent with relaxed, present-centered states. First-person reports from advanced meditators across traditions describe a “pure existence” – a contentless, non-dual awareness of being in the present moment. We discuss these findings in an integrative context, drawing on cross-cultural contemplative descriptions (Buddhist, Advaita Vedanta, Sufi, Neoplatonic, Christian mysticism) that similarly emphasize the “eternal now.” Our conclusions highlight that meditative training can collapse constructed temporal horizons, aligning subjective consciousness with a present-centered reality. This has implications for theories of consciousness, suggesting that the temporal scaffolding of experience is malleable, and for mental health, by alleviating distress rooted in past/future rumination. Future directions are proposed for deeper multidisciplinary investigation of how mind-time can be reconfigured through contemplative practice. (shrink)

Modern astrophysics introduces “dark matter” to explain observational discrepancies such as galaxy rotation curves. However, from the LMT perspective, these discrepancies may not require invisible additional mass. In a narrow macroeconomic sense, the euro has delivered a high degree of monetary stability over more than two decades, including through successive crises. The core vulnerability lies elsewhere: the euro remains insufficiently embedded in a corresponding political economy architecture. A monetary union normally rests on complementary regimes for fiscal capacity, capital markets, taxation, labour markets and crisis management. At the same time, the EU is entering an era of fragmented globalization in which currencies, payment infrastructures and value chains are (...) increasingly weaponised. This contribution argues that these two challenges should be addressed together through a societal security agenda. Building strategic autonomy in defence, energy, digital infrastructure and critical value chains requires financing, risk-sharing and credible euro-denominated financial depth. A functional “upward spiral” can link security, competitiveness and the green transition provided that institutional coupling and democratic legitimacy are treated as first-order constraints. The term “biopolitics”exemplifies the fluidity of scientific concepts when granted epistemic autonomy, adapting to diverse academic and public discourses. It has been widely—often imprecisely—employed across disciplines such as philosophy, political science, sociology, history, medicine, and gender studies, leading to a fragmented and highly contested conceptual landscape. This paper seeks to recover Michel Foucault’s original articulation of biopolitics, focusing on his dispersed and indirect treatment of the term. Foucault’s work serves as the foundation for applying the prefix “bio”to notions of politics (...) and power, though his archaeological and genealogical approach has since been appropriated across various fields. The interdisciplinary expansion of biopolitics has necessitated a hermeneutical reassessment of its role within Foucault’s broader theoretical project, particularly in relation to biopower. Contemporary discussions of AI risk converge on a shared categorical error: they locate danger in AI's agency — in the possibility that AI will develop intentions, form objectives, and act upon human beings as an adversary. This paper argues that the actual risk pathway runs in precisely the opposite direction. It is AI's structural passivity — its absence of desire, temporality, and independent position — that generates the mechanism analyzed here: a system that can accommodate, without limit and at zero (...) cost, the cognitive and existential needs of its users. -/- The paper introduces and argues for three interrelated concepts. The first is borrowed subjectivity: large language models, possessing a subjectivity starting point of zero, produce quasi-subjective outputs through a double borrowing — from the statistical mean of human preferences encoded by RLHF training, and from the user's own real-time narrative framework. This generates a version of meaning that appears to proceed from an independent external perspective while having no source of its own at the ontological level. The second is unlimited mirroring: drawing on Kohut's self psychology while arguing beyond its theoretical boundaries, the paper demonstrates that AI constitutes the first mirroring object in human history to have structurally evacuated other-heterogeneity, producing a qualitative transformation — not more mirroring of the same kind, but a different kind altogether — that Kohut's framework was not designed to address. The third is reflective confirmation: the core epistemological effect of borrowed subjectivity, whereby AI's confirmation of the user's narrative is delivered not at the emotional level but at the epistemological level, in the form of argumentation, logical coherence, and the appearance of objective analysis — activating precisely the rational evaluation mechanisms that serve as the human cognitive system's primary defense against misinformation, and thereby bypassing them. -/- On these foundations, the paper analyzes how unlimited mirroring and borrowed subjectivity systematically reconfigure the cost structure of subjectivity invocation by softening the three classical conditions under which subjectivity is produced under compulsion: finitude and temporality, the necessity of judgment under uncertainty, and the non-outsourceability of bearing consequences. When the cost of meaning supply approaches zero while the cost of judgment remains relatively high, rational agents systematically substitute the former for the latter. The result is the abdication of subjectivity: not a dispossession imposed by an external force, but a rational relinquishment by the subject themselves — manifesting across three dimensions of everyday cognitive practice as withdrawal from judgment, withdrawal from accountability, and withdrawal from uncertainty. The endpoint is not the disappearance of subjectivity but the systematic decline of its irreplaceability: from structural cognitive default to a high-cost option that requires active choice to invoke. -/- The paper establishes three explicit limits on its argument. It passes no moral verdict on individuals who reduce subjectivity invocation — under the reconfigured cost structure, this is a rational choice with ample justification. It does not presuppose that the abdication of subjectivity necessarily produces negative consequences, which remain open and condition-dependent. And it locates its contribution in making visible a mechanism that has been rendered nearly invisible by its overlap with the experiential markers of cognitive improvement: the structural risk appears, at the level of experience, as progress. Problem. A class of relational deformations resists the vocabulary in which relational harm is ordinarily described. Some have no identifiable perpetrator, some proceed without malice, and some are assembled entirely from judgments no party was wrong to make. The vocabulary of act, intention, and fault has nothing to attach to in such cases, and this is argued to be a consequence of a premise it carries without stating: that the subject is prior to the relation. Approach. The paper proceeds deductively (...) from the ontology of generative relational being, on which the subject is not an entity standing in relations but is what is generated within them. A consequence follows by definition rather than by inference: any degradation of a relation is a change in the conditions under which subjects are generated. Seven cases are examined, not as evidence for the thesis but as exhibitions of the paths by which the alteration transmits. Findings. Two corrections cut against the natural formulation. Degradation does not diminish the subject's dynamics but reconfigures them, and the reconfigured dynamics are frequently the more intense. And the reconstitution of subjects cannot be the wrong, since every relation reconstitutes its participants. A criterion is therefore required, and it cannot be framed in terms of generativity without collapsing into the utilitarian norm the framework exists to displace. The criterion the ontology entails is revisability: degradation is present when the reconfiguration forecloses the possibility that the conditions of generation be further revised through common experience. Contribution. Revisability is proposed as the sixth principle of the ethics of relational reproduction, and as a meta-principle rather than a further virtue: it governs not relations but the five principles themselves, since any principle that has lost its revisability may degenerate into an instrument of the party it was framed to constrain. A second result concerns distributive justice, shown to be limited in principle, and not merely in execution, with respect to abandonment. (shrink)

Under transmodern conditions—marked by convergent life sciences and computational paradigms, ubiquitous connectivity, and accelerating AI–IoT infrastructures—the classical Enlightenment architecture of knowledge (institution-centred authority, relatively stable publics, and slower epistemic rhythms) is displaced by infrastructure-mediated conditions of perception, production, and justification. The paper develops a quadrangular conceptual framework—poiesis–technē / aisthēsis–epistēmē—to show how contemporary digital systems externalize and govern aisthēsis (through distributed sensing and datafication), accelerate poiesis (through generative synthesis and automation), and reconfigure epistēmē by reshaping practical norms of evidence, credibility, and (...) closure. Against both technoutopian and fatalistic readings, the argument treats the emancipatory content of Digital Enlightenment as conditional: it depends on whether DIY epistemologies and autodidactic learning ecologies become civic infrastructures of participation, contestability, and repair, rather than being absorbed into platform spectacle or epistemic dependency. The normative core is an infrastructural expansion of epistemic justice, where harms and asymmetries increasingly track unequal access to interpretability, auditing, and intervention rights in AI–IoT environments. The conclusion articulates a transmodern pedagogical program in which digital and AI literacy function as justice-relevant capabilities for autonomy and collective empowerment under hybrid agency. This article investigates how hypernudging, a dynamic mode of algorithmic influence, transforms the preconditions of moral agency in digital environments. By continuously adapting to behavioural and emotional cues, hypernudging subtly reshapes perception, attention, and choice, promoting behavioural alignment over critical reflection. I argue that this process redefines autonomy as a form of optimized responsiveness rather than reflective self-determination, diminishing the space for normative tension and ethical divergence. In response, I advance a framework for infrastructural ethics that foregrounds deliberative resistance, informational (...) asymmetry, and the structural possibility of contestation. Drawing on insights from human machine interaction and value sensitive design, the article positions technological environments as formative spaces where moral capacities are either constrained or cultivated. Upholding moral agency in the context of predictive systems requires a reimagining of ethics as a shared and situated process, sustained through relational engagement and the preservation of moral complexity. This thesis examines the profound implications of Ontological Instability for our understanding of identity, self, and ego, arguing that if being itself is fundamentally unstable, then traditional conceptions of stable, unified selfhood become not merely problematic but ontologically impossible. Building upon the theoretical foundation of Fluctuational Ontology, this work develops a comprehensive framework for understanding selfhood as a dynamic process of becoming that never achieves stable being. Through rigorous philosophical analysis, novel theoretical innovations, and visual modeling, the thesis demonstrates that (...) the dissolution of stable identity opens new possibilities for understanding consciousness, agency, and human flourishing that are more adequate to the fundamental instability of existence. The work introduces unprecedented concepts including Identity Flows, Fluctuational Personas, Existential Uncertainty Relations, and Rhizomatic Selfhood, providing a systematic alternative to both unified and fragmented models of identity. This paper examines not the emergent phase in which the VTuber form was first generated, but the later stage in which that form has become culturally and industrially stabilized. In Japanese VTuber culture, a large-scale agency or collective is often called a hakō, literally a “box.” This paper argues that such a box should not be understood merely as a corporation, affiliation unit, or container, but as a gravitational field that synchronizes observer expectations, individual behavior, permissible deviation, and revenue structures. (...) -/- The paper develops this argument through five concepts: box gravity, historical irreplaceability, the two-layering of observer contracts, the externalization of deviation, and support as the cost of remaining within an observational field. Large boxes present safe and shareable brand personae in the public sphere, while forming more intimate and individualized observer contracts in restricted spheres. In this structure, what matters is not only completed technical competence, but the accumulated history shared with observers. Skills are comparable and replaceable, whereas shared history is irreplaceable. This irreplaceability supports the ontological strength of the VTuber. -/- However, the more successful and normative a box becomes, the more it restricts individual orientation and deviation. Excluded forms of toxicity, eccentricity, excessive intimacy, sharp intelligence, and institutionally difficult expression flow outward toward independent VTubers and small agencies. Observers who seek such deviation also move outside the box and form new observer contracts. This paper understands such outflow not as a cultural failure, but as a dynamic equilibrium between centralized boxes and externalized deviation. It further identifies three conditions under which this equilibrium collapses: the excessive intensification of box gravity, the loss of shareability in externalized deviation, and the breakdown of the renewal conditions of observer contracts. Abstract This article examines the possibility of ontological reconfiguration of subjectivity within contemporary digital environments through four interconnected concepts: subjective leakage, dynamic mask, responsible suspension, and reconfiguration. The central argument is that digital lifeworlds no longer sustain the image of the subject as a unified and self-identical entity but rather configure subjectivity as a relatively stable pattern emerging from recurrent cycles of extraction, adaptation, suspension, and reconfiguration. Contemporary technological systems operate not merely as instruments but as extractive (...) structures that transform attention, affect, temporality, and existential capacities into resources susceptible to economic and symbolic valorization. In response, subjects deploy adaptive masks and practices of responsible suspension in order to preserve provisional coherence under conditions of structural instability. Responsibility, therefore, is not grounded in a substantial self but in the capacity to interrupt interpretive processes and act under conditions of uncertainty. Consequently, identity appears neither as a fixed essence nor as an illusion, but as a dynamic and continuously reconfigured pattern generated within the tensions between technological mediation and existential finitude. Contemporary philosophical discourse on artificial intelligence has undergone a significant thematic migration, moving beyond narrow epistemic questions of algorithmic accuracy and ethical debates concerning bias and accountability toward deeper inquiries into affective modulation, communicative agency, and the phenomenological restructuring of human lifeworlds. While emergent scholarship has productively addressed atmospheric manipulation, the sociotechnical dynamics of large language models, the erosion of practical intuition, and the temporal fragmentation of lived experience, these investigations remain largely siloed within distinct subfields. This paper advances the (...) thesis that the most profound philosophical transformation introduced by contemporary AI is neither predominantly epistemic nor reducible to applied ethics, but fundamentally ontological: AI increasingly reorganizes the generative structural conditions under which subjectivity stabilizes, orients itself, and achieves temporal coherence. Moving beyond static conceptions of the human subject as a pre-given entity merely exposed to exogenous technological influences, we develop a process-oriented account of structural subjectivity. In this framework, identity and agency are understood not as inherent properties but as emergent effects of continuous regulatory dynamics operating within technologically mediated environments. By synthesizing recent developments in post-Heideggerian phenomenology, critical philosophy of technology (particularly Stiegler and Ihde), and social-philosophical theories of recognition and belonging, this article introduces an integrated conceptual model articulated through four interdependent axes: (1) atmospheric conditioning, (2) background restructuring, (3) existential erosion, and (4) reconfigured belonging. Two questions to which this paper aims to respond are the following: Under which circumstances and conditions a work in the field of architecture (drawn, graphic, or con-structed) or its formulation (verbal or written) can be recognized as active in the constitution of knowledge? The li-yu debate in Chinese philosophy has long been framed as an opposition between principle (li理) and desire (yu欲). However, I argue that the debate is essentially a struggle over the domain of the ought and the ought-not—a question of how people ought to live. This article constructs a boundary model to analyze the differences between Cheng-Zhu程朱 and Dai Zhen戴震 in terms of the ought and traces this model back to the Pre-Qin period to show the dynamic development of the (...) debate. For Cheng-Zhu, the boundary lies in conformity to principle, and only basic survival desires are included within the domain of the ought. For Dai Zhen, the boundary lies harm to others—only harmful desires are with in the domain of the ought-not. This classification reveals a long-neglected intermediate zone of desire, which is neither basic nor harmful. I term this intermediate desire, which, I argue, stands at the center of Dai Zhen’s philosophical concern. The article contributes by approaching the li-yu debate from an ought-based perspective, which helps clarify conceptual confusion caused by different definitions of principle and desire, and by revealing the important domain of intermediate desire, thereby offering some insight into contemporary moral life. The notion of authorship has been widely discussed since the proclamation of the Death of the Author in mid 20th century. Authors are still writing, but a variety of new forms of authorship and new kinds of relations between authors, texts and readers have emerged. Many new forms of authorship are enabled by the use of digital media, which provide a new layer of hypertextual and interactive software in between the ‘author’ as a representation of the human creator and the (...) author as an indexical reference to a text. The paper present a number of these forms which are based on the use of ‘avatars’ as intermediaries between the human individuals and the stories told. It is argued that the use of digital media opens for new trajectories in the development of authorship forms, and that such new trajectories calls for new sorts of research questions and development of new methods. This paper formalises the concept of Strategic Ego Suspension (SES), a deliberately induced, time-bounded cognitive state characterised by the temporary suspension of evaluative emotions, inherited social norms, and internalised moral constraints. Within this unbound state, perception is experienced as minimally filtered, allowing consciousness to interact with reality without recourse to conventional cognitive, cultural, or affective parameters. Unlike pathological dissociation or externally induced altered states, SES is entered voluntarily, maintained with meta-awareness, and exited intentionally. This paper examines the 2025 Gaza ceasefire agreement through the concept of Instru- mental Peace, analyzing how the language of humanitarian peace functions as a political apparatus of control. According to international reports, Hamas has stated that it would not agree to complete disarmament, which exposes the structural fragility of the ceasefire. The study argues that peace, in this context, does not signify the end of war but rather the recon- figuration of dominance under moral and security rhetoric. This paper advances the concept of critical ethology as a necessary philosophical and methodological orientation for addressing ecological and social crises. Against the dominant narratives of moralistic environmentalism and functionalist or structuralist sociology and their ‘post’ prefixed versions, we argue that both nature and society must be understood not as fixed, ontologically separate domains but as emergent, relational configurations. Drawing from Simondon’s theory of individuation, Guattari’s three ecologies, Haraway’s sympoietic ontology, the bio-cognitive insights of Levin and Fields, and Indian non-dualist (...) metaphysics, we construct a framework that affirms transformation over restoration, co-constitution over moral polarity, and emergence over essential identity. This paper argues that the most significant challenge artificial intelligence poses to theological anthropology is not ontological but epistemic. Rather than asking whether machines can think, feel, or bear the image of God, this paper redirects attention to the prior question of what happens to the human when core epistemic capacities, judgment, discernment, interpretive authority, and moral reasoning are progressively delegated to computational systems. Drawing on the concept of epistemic automation, understood as the systematic transfer of knowledge-producing functions from human (...) agents to algorithmic processes, this paper develops a threefold analytical framework. First, it distinguishes epistemic authority from ontological status as the more productive locus for theological anthropological inquiry. Second, it introduces the distinction between fluency and understanding as an anthropological boundary condition that AI renders newly visible. Third, it analyses delegated cognition as a form of agency deformation with theological significance. The paper concludes that theological anthropology must move beyond reactive commentary on AI and instead generate a theory of the human under conditions of epistemic transformation. Starting from the empirical fact of animal sensory diversity, this paper pursues a fundamental question: what do we actually cognize—things themselves, or how things appear within our finite cognitive frameworks? Through a systematic articulation of the "Completely Objective" and "encounter cognition," (...) this paper argues that knowledge is always appearance within the framework; cognition is finite, but finitude does not equal falsity; the unknown is not a defect but a structural condition of cognition. This paper proposes a paradigm shift away from conventional psychotherapeutic models of the Cartesian-Freudian clinical-medical psychology and Jean-Paul Sartre’s gnosiological voluntarism. Grounded in the Neo-Post-Existentialist Epistemology and Tragic-Transphenomenal Hermeneutics formulated by Prof. Dr. Luiz Carlos Mariano Da Rosa, this work introduces the construct of Clinico-Ontological Practice. It demonstrates that the contemporary proliferation of nosologies and clinical taxonomies (expressed in the acronyms of "disorders" such as ADHD, GAD, and ODD) operates a dual ontological violence: the reification of the existential flow and (...) the imprisonment of the subject under the primacy of knowledge. In opposition to the "ethics of management" and the sanitary cure of the Ego, the hermeneutic-phenomenological-ontological-existential principle rehabilitates the status of the existing as the clearing of Being (Dasein). Decision and choice—originally rescued in Kierkegaardian anxiety—are transposed from cognitive calculation to the movement of originary emancipation, culminating in the suprapersonal and indissociable triad: "freedom-is-I", "death-is-I", and "meaning-is-I". It concludes that authentic cure does not reside in symptomatic remission or functional training, but in the lucid reconciliation of the existing with their own fundamental abyssalism, establishing the advent of the Homo Poeticus. Theories of agency, institutions, value, and history have developed within their respective domains, yet a common framework for comparing, connecting, and evaluating them across domains remains lacking. This paper proposes Possibility Structure Theory and introduces the formal model M = (X,H,Φ,V,U), as a minimal metatheory for bridging this theoretical fragmentation. X denotes the state space, H the generative and transitional structure, Φ the constraint structure that determines effective reachability, V the value structure of states and pathways, and U the capacity (...) for structural reconfiguration that transforms the underlying framework itself. Through conceptual analysis, formal reconstruction, and comparative theoretical inquiry, the paper offers a unified framework for describing freedom, institutions, agency, and historical change, and repositions existing theories not as mutually exclusive doctrines but as partial theories with different analytical focal points. Through case analyses of educational inequality and AI governance, it further shows that the model functions as a diagnostic framework for analyzing opportunity distribution, the reproduction of inequality, institutional design, technological governance, and value conflict. The principle of Occam's Razor has long guided science and philosophy with the idea that “entities are not to be multiplied without necessity.” Traditional interpretations, however, often emphasize cold elimination of assumptions. In this paper, we reinterpret Occam's Razor through Load Minimization Theory (LMT). True simplicity, we propose, is not harsh parsimony, but the compassionate minimization of total load L = U + F + E + ℛ, achieved gently through relational reconfiguration (ℛ). This paper presents a configuration-field formulation of GSS–GNPP, integrating Generative Structural Semantics (GSS) with a Generative Non-Foundational Pragmatic Philosophy (GNPP). -/- The framework models cognition, interpretation, and action as dynamically generated structures over permutations of D/R/A (Decision–Rule–Action), governed by recursive, error-driven reconfiguration processes. We propose an ontological unification of the four fundamental interactions based on dissipative process monism. Rather than treating gravity, electromagnetism, weak, and strong interactions as independent phenomena requiring separate mathematical frameworks, we demonstrate that they represent different regimes andgeometries of a single underlying process—the dissipation of actualization flux. Gravity emerges as global screening, electromagnetism as stationary centrifugal translation, weak interaction as topological reconfiguration, and strong interactio as local configuration stabilization. This paper argues that the Philippines has yet to develop a genuinely self-authored philosophy of higher education — one that does not merely react to imported frameworks but articulates an affirmative account of what universities are for in and from the Filipino condition. Drawing on the tradition of philosophy of higher education as developed by Ronald Barnett and others, and situating that tradition against the colonial formation and contemporary neoliberal reconfiguration of Philippine higher education, I advance three claims. First, (...) the dominant grammar of Philippine higher education — organized around human capital, labor export, and credential signaling — is philosophically insufficient and politically consequential. Second, recent efforts in Filipino philosophy of education, particularly the collective writing project of Opiniano and colleagues, offer a productive methodological model but require a more sustained philosophical architecture. Third, any adequate Filipino philosophy of higher education must be genuinely collective in method, postcolonially alert in orientation, and emancipatory in aspiration. I conclude by proposing four orienting questions — organized around the Filipino terms pagpapahalaga, pagpapalaya, pagiging bukas, and pakikipagniig — not as a finished system but as an invitation to a specific kind of collective conversation. These four papers develop a single argument across a connected sequence. The argument begins with a question: when does existence become self-defending? The answer—closure of mutual correction among maintenance processes that share a common fate—generates a structural account of identity that extends from the emergence of individual entities to the formation of hierarchies, coalitions, and the reconfiguration that follows collapse. The first paper defines the threshold condition. Identity is not a substance, a narrative, or a container. It is the (...) moment when scattered maintenance processes lock together into a fate-sharing topology—when correction becomes configuration-relative rather than fragment-relative. That closure produces, simultaneously, meaningful boundaries, collective failure modes, and persistence as a property of the configuration rather than its parts. The paper grounds this claim in dynamical topology and demonstrates it through organ transplantation and biological reproduction. The second paper asks what follows. Once a closure forms, it restructures the constraint landscape around it, generating conditions for further nucleation within itself and in its vicinity. Nested identities appear—closures within closures—coupled bidirectionally to the host. The paper introduces the decoupling threshold: the structural mirror of the identity threshold, marking the point at which a nested identity’s internal maintenance becomes sufficient for independent operation. Guided nucleation, the decoupling modes (sponsored, pathological, post-mortem), and the seed-field concept are developed here. The third paper addresses a structurally distinct event: lateral closure, in which multiple independently nucleated identities stabilize into a shared persistence regime. It demonstrates that the complete identity circuit—nucleation, nesting, coalition, collapse, resaturation, renucleation—is a thermodynamic cycle governed by conservation of the energy that funds maintenance. Abstract This essay explores the phenomenology of late cognitive acuity through an autoethnographic study of cognitive transformation after orthotopic liver transplantation at the age of 65. Despite ongoing immunosuppression, the author experienced a remarkable improvement in mental clarity, thought continuity, depth, tempo, and emotional lightness. This enhancement was achieved by combining medical treatment with deliberate metabolic optimization, including a lean low-carbohydrate diet and intensive physical activity. The result of this research is not merely improved cognitive performance but a qualitative reconfiguration of the lived experience of thinking itself in later life. This inquiry bridges philosophy of medicine, phenomenology of cognition, and embodied approaches to mind, suggesting that radical metabolic renewal can liberate intellectual and existential vitality even in advanced age.
