Abstract

This paper introduces the foundational axiom of the Unified Cosmology: wherever holographic life exists, time and spirit necessarily arise. Holographic life is defined as any finite system capable of generating an internal representation of itself. Such systems inherently produce an internal temporal gradient (biological time) and a continuity of meaningful resonance (spirit). Time is not a universal physical dimension but a biological phenomenon that emerges only within living entes. Spirit is the persistence of this meaningful time across transitions. Matter also undergoes change, but its “time” is not lived; it becomes identifiable only through symbolic interpretation by advanced biological entes. The paper argues that life, time, and spirit form the biological trinity, the structural triad that gives meaning to three‑dimensional space. This framework establishes a symbolic cosmology grounded in gradients, resonance, and the continuity of finite identity.
