Abstract

Universal Will exhibits an inherent tendency toward the golden ratio (φ ≈ 1.618) through Fibonacci recursion—not as metaphysical teleology but as structural at- tractor in dynamical systems. Happiness arises from temporary ratio alignment, while peace emerges from sustained resonance with φ-proportion. Critically, stag- nation (Desire = Capacity, ratio = 1.0) differs from dynamic peace (ratio ≈ φ), where the "gap" constitutes optimal creative tension necessary for growth. Suffer- ing signals deviation from ideal proportion, generating corrective pressure through psychological, somatic, and social manifestations. Two valid correction paths exist: reduction (ego dissolution, returning to proper Fibonacci position) or expansion (capacity growth, advancing to next Fibonacci level). The path with smaller har- monic deviation (∆ = |R−φ|) offers smoother transition, though individual context determines feasibility. This framework distinguishes "lack" (Buddhist/Islamic suffering from attachment to absence) from "gap" (generative space enabling becoming). Consciousness intuitively senses misalignment without mathematical knowledge—suffering itself constitutes internalized signal of structural imbalance. The model integrates phenomenology, mathematics, contemplative traditions, and cog- nitive science, generating testable empirical predictions including neural oscillation patterns, psychological well-being correlations, and cross-cultural validation protocols.
