Abstract
This treatise establishes the foundational principles of a theory of gravitation that
differs fundamentally from General Relativity not in its empirical predictions for
tested phenomena, but in its ontology—in what it claims gravity is.
We do not begin with predictions. We do not begin with experimental anomalies.
We begin, as Newton did, with definitions and axioms—with statements about the
fundamental nature of physical reality from which all observable consequences must
follow.
The central claim is this: Mass is not a single property, but a dual prop-
erty—it factorizes into an energy channel and an inertia channel, mediated by a
scalar field that permeates all spacetime. This factorization, far from contradicting
observation, explains why the equivalence principle holds and provides a unified
framework for gravitational and quantum phenomena.
This is not a modification of General Relativity. It is a re-foundation of gravi-
tational theory from first principles, built upon a symmetry—the Anisotropic Weyl
Symmetry—that enforces a specific mathematical structure upon physical law.
Like Newton’s Principia, this work is organized into Books. Book I establishes
the axioms and definitions. Book II derives the mathematical structure of the
theory. Book III explores the physical interpretation and connects the abstract
formalism to observable reality.
We make no appeal to experimental data in establishing these principles. That
comes later. Here, we present only the pure architecture of the theory—the logical
bedrock upon which all subsequent investigation must rest.
