Saturday night was the September meeting at Gillian's house. While our discussion was poorly lacking, we must take into account the fact that only four people were there. I believe I have the non-attendee's reasons written down correctly, but I could be wrong. So if you did not go to the meeting Saturday night - excepting Dhriti - please reply here with a) your reason and b) whether you read the book or not.
The next meeting will be at my house. The tentative date (meaning I haven't asked my mother yet) is the 22nd. If this date is a problem, please comment here. I am aiming to have all seven in-town members at this meeting.
The book for next month is Wicked by Gregory Maguire. Your lovely mod Rachel has kindly put up a link to his website, so please check it out, if only so we can feel useful. Wicked is a fairly popular book, so you should have no trouble finding it. Do keep in mind though, that it is fairly long, so allow yourself some time to read it.
Next order of business: I have lost my notebook. While it may just be a victim to the extreme disorganization of my desk, I have a sneaking suspicion that it has vanished permantenly. So please comment here with what month you think you have, because that was written in my now-missing notebook.
If there's anything else I've forgotten, I'm sure Rachel will say it for me.
