FIRST OFF, PERSONAL PERSON GROWN UP ADULT HUMAN STUFF
my spouseperson moved into the apartment I was living in, my family's home close to downtown which some friends talked me into letting go of pride and living here. I remember reading newsposts here on Newgrounds where artists and gamedevs about taking a step back moving back with their families and stuff like that. So yeah, I guess I'm the adult that posts about adult struggles here, maybe some random kid reads this and gets confused about how possible it is to be an """"artist"""". well, about that...
MUSICIAN ME
I played a lot of music this year, didn't create brand new songs with wacky lyrics as much as I wanted and of course I didnt record stuff like I wished, but what happened is that I took a step back and I supported people as an accordionist, I played with a "kids" band type gig where we did a few childrens birthdays and I even played a couple of lion king songs with one of those big headed costumed guys with simba and pumba, that was fun and there was a kickass drummer. I also played a couple of show with Dani Ventre who was my roomate for around 2 years and he plays very nice guitar(the linked track of his album where I played accordion right up there, give it a listen) every show he set up he changed up the order of everything and he got these guests that played different types of drums, or maybe this sampler thingie with live mix. I also played with Ode, my spouse, who's doing a reasearch with masks and street theater in college and I did a couple of small shows in schools where I played accordion and literally fidgeted around with bells and whistles, pretty fun stuff and it is really cool to be in a relationship with this sort of cool person
CLOWNS AND BABIES
I also played with a couple of clowns, in a project that started over an year ago actually, but I didnt expect it to go far, but now we're doing shows around different cities and it became the stage gig with the fairest pay for me, and I actually love it, we already have 4 shows set for next month!
I get to improvise with the clows doing silent scenes that stretch and shorten in time depending on the audience, AND THE AUDIENCE IS BABIES. It's a play where we aim to introduce circus traditions with reaaally basic movements that evolve into actual juggling and acrobatics. I also played accordion as part of the "orchestra" for a street theater group where I play alongside a guitarist, cavaco-ist(?) percussionist/drummer, and Dani again playing clarinet on this thing. I was brought into this by my partner who played a fruity cowboy type. The guys in this band are REALLY good and it was a nice challenge. Another cool thing about this is that I beat Metal Gear Solid V this year, and the play is called "Cabra e a Cobra"(Feller and the Snake, or something like that) and both have protagonist/antagonists who are "Snakes" and there were two actors doing the "snake" so there were twin snakes(Twin snakes, solid snake liquid snake etc etc you get you play video games)
DRAWING WORKING
I've done quite a lot of drawing work, plenty of shitty youtube channels with listicles and stuff like that, channels that these randos set up and invested until they saw that after around 10 videos they didnt break even 10k subs then they gave up because the plan was magically becoming profitable, I guess. Eventually I lined up this gig that is still going, with a history focused channel with very limited animation/slideshows. Sometimes its interisting scripts and sometimes its obviously clickbaity repetitive stuff...BUUUUT I draw everything on Flash 8 bc its the software I work the fastest and the only duty I have is to pump out videos fast with a lot of quick cartoon guys. So yeah I guess its a good job. It IS a job for now. thats more than most people can do with drawing.

yeah I didnt really look or considered these slideshow yt channels as viable freelance work but now a lot of places I used to find quick design and video work are just completely overrun with "Need AI creators to pump out a 100 tiktok vids for 50 bucks" and I kinda prefer eating glass drenched in acid to that. I hate hate hate these fucking robots. a friend of mine who's been living abroad sent me a samba song about being alone done in SUNO and I just fucking looked at the sky for like 15 minutes trying to recover any faith in anything. people either dont know how shitty the process for "creating" stuff with gen ai is or just straight up dont care... that makes me pretty sad
So yeah, if you have a gig that allows you to create, be thankful. and if you can give a bit of money to creative people, please do.

I also got a sailing "certificate" somehow, Its just a paper from the people who thaugh me(imargem at grajau, look them up theyre cool) saying I've sailed like 200 hours, cant legally sail far, but its still cool)
