Who Guides You Around the World?

I recently borrowed the latest (2004, sigh) Central America on a Shoestring by Lonely Planet and have been reading it everyday. I looked at some other guides at Borders and am leaning more towards Lonely Planet. They don't sell Let's Go anywhere in Melbourne, so...I can't exactly look at. I used a bootleg copy of Lonely Planet Asia (yes, they sell bootleg copies of EVERYTHING in Thailand...travel books, regular books, DVDs, CDs...) when I was in the area and thought it to be pretty good. What do you prefer?

Greeting Girls!

I had my assessment call tonight! YAY! The woman I spoke with was so wonderful and nice. It went really well. We went over my patterns of drinking, what led to me getting my DUI, what my pattern of drinking is now, if I had any problems that might become amplified while overseas that would affect me and cause me to start drinking and things of that nature. We went over some definitions of alcohol and drug abuse as well. All in all it was a very thorough phone call.

What relief I feel now that I've had it! YAY. Thanks for everyone's support. Now I'll keep you posted to when and if I get an invite since that was the last thing I needed to complete!
